WHO WE ARE

Eternautas’ approach is based on providing the historical tools in order to understand Buenos Aires: transmitting, while enjoying the walk, the main features of its architecture, culture, demographic and social data, as well as the clues of the argentine politics and economy.

Thus, all the tours are guided by University professors with a solid background in social sciences and languages.

Eternautas has provided services for corporations, tourist operators, private clients, local and foreign universities, embassies, hotels, public institutions and conventions.  In March 2006 we had the honour of guiding Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and the Heir Prince and Princess, as part of the Official visit they made to our country.

At the same time, Eternautas also develops editorial, educational and audiovisual projects, provoking critical reflection and analysis, transmitting historical concepts in a different and dynamic way. Since 2006 we work as historical consultants for Canal Encuentro (local TV channel), and since 2008 for The History Channel. In March 2008 we published the book "Buenos Aires tiene historia: Once itinerarios guiados por la ciudad (eleven guided itineraries around the city)", that was already republished three times and was declared of Cultural Interest by the Buenos Aires legislature. In 2009 we published the book "Marriott Plaza Hotel. Celebrating the first hundred years", in occasion of the famous hotel’s centennial in Buenos Aires. Several other editorial projects will see the light during 2010, including the English version of "Buenos Aires tiene historia".

In May we will be launching "Mitteleuropa 2010", first itinerary developed by Eternautas in Europe, with the usual cultural hallmark that characterizes our local tours.
